DESCRIPTION:

If you are currently a member of the Yelp Elite Squad and are looking for ways to get more involved with Yelp, this opportunity is for you! Our online community representatives are responsible for engaging and educating Yelp users in their positive tone of support through written communication. Their efforts are focused on improving connections on our platform. Each week, you will be assigned tasks that help grow our online community through the Yelp messaging app and sometimes work hard to support the efforts of your community manager. Just be aware that it will take a solid 19 hours to do so – although how you schedule this time is flexible – and will require a secure internet connection. This position requires either living in the East Bay or East Bay South and being a current member of a prominent organization for each area.

What to do:

You’ll interact with Yelp users directly through the website and mobile app. You’ll connect with local Yelp users and popular Yelp members in your area, as well as community managers and Yelp members online. You will maintain your Yelp Elite status by continuing to contribute valuable content to the platform. What it takes to be successful:
You live in the East Bay or Easy Bay South and are a member of the Yelp Elite Team for each area.

You have effective written communication skills and enjoy interacting with others online. You are motivated and more productive when you set your own schedule.

You’re passionate about Yelp, your metro, and connecting people with great local businesses and the broader Yelp community. Do you have experience or ability to learn online tools like Google Docs.

Other Requirements:

You have the bandwidth and flexibility to work 19 hours a week. You are twenty one years old.

You have a personal phone that can run the Yelp app. While you’re not restricted from working exclusively for Yelp, outside gigs, especially influencer opportunities, will need to be vetted for potential conflicts of interest.
