We are looking for a graduate to join our team in Swindon as an Analog Mixed Signal Verification Engineer, working closely with the design teams to verify the next generation of power management unit ICs. Expand your knowledge of power management analog and digital systems, cultivate your practical skills to meet verification objectives, and search for creative answers to current problems.

Important Features.

theoretical understanding of analog systems and power management-related electronic building blocks, such as amplifiers, linear regulators, switching converters, reference circuitry, band-gaps, data converters, and clock generators. In this situation, practical experience is advantageous.
Scripting language knowledge is a plus, as is a passion for programming. Just a few examples include the Unix shell languages, Python, Tcl, and Perl.

Description.

Take part in the creation of a Mixed-Signal IP Block Verification Plan.

– Participate in design reviews and look over design specifications to learn about the IPs being tested and how they are used in the system.
– Lead the verification efforts within a team to meet the goals of the verification.
– Create the models and stimuli required to generate a number of system behaviors and achieve test coverage.
– Work in tandem with the design teams to share the results.
– Work closely with coworkers to develop coordinated and efficient methodologies.

Both experience and education.

A BS/MS degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
