The Core AV group within Core OS is in charge of developing the device drivers and firmware for DP and HDMI displays. We are seeking talented individuals who take pleasure in creating device drives and working with FW.

 Important Prerequisites.

•  possessing writing and debugging skills for complex drivers and related frameworks.
•  the ability to create device drivers.
•  understanding of C and C++.
•  demonstrated the capacity to problem-solve, be inventive, and think critically.
•  exceptionally competent, able to deliver high-caliber work quickly.
•  Excellent teamwork skills.
•  strong written and verbal communication skills.
•  understanding of logic analysers and oscilloscopes.

 Description.

You will play a crucial part in the team responsible for maintaining and developing device drivers for display technologies. Working closely with numerous multi-functional teams, you would be responsible for developing new features, resolving issues raised by customers and QA, conducting schematic and code reviews, installing new hardware, and guaranteeing seamless interoperability. Work closely with the firmware teams to ensure standards-compliant interfacing and help with SW/FW/HW bug debugging.

 Both training and experience.

•  a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in computer science or computer engineering, or the knowledge and skills equivalent.

 Further Requirements.

•  Additional Desirable Conditions (Not Required):.
•  AV technologies like VGA, HDCP, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.
•  Examples include consumer electronics control (CEC) and infrared (IR) remote controls.
•  knowing how to develop for IOKit and Mac.

•  One element of Apple’s total compensation is base pay, which is subject to a number of options. This presents the opportunity to advance as you gain experience and become better at your job. Your starting pay for this position will range from $130,000 to $242,000 depending on your geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
