As an interior design intern on the Design Team within the Business Solutions Group, you would become completely immersed in every facet of the design process and gain practical experience working with actual clients.

 You’ll execute:.

Use AutoCAD or Revit to create floor plans, furniture layouts, and installation plans.

Maintain the design archive.

• Inform manufacturers and suppliers of pricing, product lead times, and sample requests.
• Produce client-facing presentations using Adobe Creative software, including Product Catalogs, Design Proposals, and Standard Packages.
• Design assistance and support for client projects (site evaluations, floor plans, CAD renderings, color schemes, design concepts, mood boards).
• Write trend reports and present findings to the design team for review.
• Collaborate closely on important projects with the rest of the Business Solutions Group team and the Business Account Manager.

• It helps to have knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel. • Expertise with Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
• A willingness to be creative as well as the ability to convey your understanding of basic design principles and execute your client’s vision.
• Furniture, finish, and material knowledge in the area of interior design.
• The ability to work well with others and to maintain a positive outlook are important.
• The ability to flourish in an environment that values entrepreneurship and a never-ending search for fresh concepts.
• The ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
