•  The Ads Product team currently consists of about 15 talented ads PMs dispersed across North America and Europe, ranging from mid-level PMs to senior ICs and GPMs. We require a leader to establish the product strategy for the main advertising offering and to direct the development of the monetization strategy. Among other things, this position involves managing our ad targeting products, full page optimization strategies, syndication product portfolios, and retargeting product portfolios.

 You’ll perform the following.

•  The creation, direction, and mentoring of a world-class team of advertising product managers.
•  The product strategy should be structured around some of Yelp’s most crucial systems, including ad targeting, bidding, and pacing, etc.
•  Interact with the executive team to discuss future plans, implement the vision as a team, and take initiative.
•  Work together with the heads of other orgs in Biz Ops, Product, Engineering, and GTM to establish company-wide strategies and connect goals to ad roadmaps.
•  Support team development by promoting new educational and professional opportunities.
•  Working together with divisions like finance and HR to manage a budget, headcount, and compensation policies will help to ensure the team is ready for success.

 In order to succeed, you need to:.

•  ten or more years of product experience in advertisements and markets.
•  Having managed teams of product managers for at least five years.
•  a commitment to Yelp and our objective of matching customers with excellent local businesses.
