We are looking for an engineering manager with expertise in Data Engineering and/or data infrastructure to lead our data infrastructure team.

Infrastructure systems are essential to enable our business to access, process and analyze the vast amount of data we generate every day. As a leader in this area, you will be responsible for designing and building robust and scalable data systems and pipelines that support the core functions of our organization including data science, business operations and product development. . Your team will play a key role in decision-making, ensuring the stability and reliability of our data infrastructure. What to do:

Bring back the data infrastructure team by defining challenges and defining a long-term technology vision for the team. Monitor and improve our data infrastructure using modern in-house technology. Work with activists, engineering leaders and their staff to support the work of the team and the needs of the organization and build trust. Empower your data management team, help them become data leaders as they foster strong relationships among their team members to maximize the power of our data assets. Develop skills within your team, giving data managers and software engineers broad impact across the entire engineering organization. What it takes to be successful:
“People first” in your previous management experience, creates a strong team culture and leads to empathy. Good understanding of data processing technologies such as: Kafka, Redshift, Flink, Spark. Ability to design big data infrastructure, build self-service data platforms, and operate data mesh. Experience in implementing data management, assurance and driving these aspects through automation and control management. The practical driving experience is changing in big companies, restoring trust and improving the environment.
