Yelp Restaurants is seeking a driven foundational hire to fill the Associate Mid-Market Account Executive (AMMAE) position. You will play a key role as an Associate Mid-Market Account Executive in establishing new partnerships with multinational corporations across North America in order to incorporate them into our line of restaurant and advertising products.
Everything in this role, from prospecting to closing, is entirely up to you. You’ll frequently plan, call, pitch, and follow up with mid-market restaurant executives to explain the value Yelp products can unlock for them. You will work closely with the Restaurant Success team to ensure the customers you bring on board are happy and prepared for growth.
Your ability to quickly adapt and iterate will be crucial to your success on this newly formed team. You are skilled at navigating complex sales cycles and organizations with many decision makers. We need a new member of our team who has experience selling technology because we want to grow our business.

As the manager of your own opportunities and domain, you will be in charge of generating new leads, creating and maintaining a pipeline, and overseeing all other aspects of your management.
Throughout the entire sales cycle, you will be in charge of making introduction calls, answering incoming questions, identifying business objectives through qualifying, closing the deal, and handling the upsell and expansion.
You will become more knowledgeable about Yelp’s Guest Manager, Connect, and Advertising solutions.
Your success will depend on your capacity to deal with challenges and swiftly modify product recommendations to fit shifting client requirements.
We will consistently meet and surpass your quarterly sales goals.
You will plan and implement strategies for current customers in collaboration with the restaurant success team to ensure they get the most out of the product(s) provided.
You will handle, diffuse, and direct customer feedback through the appropriate channels.
You’ll be eager to travel (for face-to-face meetings) slightly more than 30% of the time.
Please be aware that even though this job will be done remotely, the applicant must reside 50 miles or less from a busy airport.

With goals exceeded and a quick ramp, you have a track record of success in SaaS sales.
You are proficient with Salesforce.com. knowledgeable about cases, reports, and opportunities.
Excellent communicator – Whether it’s over the phone, via email, or in a live chat, you are fantastic at speaking with customers.
