Full Job Description
- Please be aware that although this position will be carried out remotely, a U.S. S. A requirement is that you be a resident. San Francisco Bay Area candidates are not currently being taken into consideration.
- Working an 8-hour shift between the position’s operational hours of 5 a.m. and noon, you will be expected to put in a total of 40 hours per week in this role. m. and 6 p. m. 6:30 a.m. Pacific Time. m. and 7 p. m. 7 a.m., Mountain Time. m. and 8 p. m. both at 8 a.m. Central Time. m. and 9 p. m. From Monday through Friday, there will be a work week.
- To give our small business advertisers a 5-star experience, the Yelp Customer Success team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Success Representative. In your role as a member of the Customer Success team, you will be committed to assisting, advising, and maintaining our advertisers after the sale.
You must complete the following.
- You will increase Yelp’s revenue retention by providing excellent and effective customer support.
- You’ll upgrade a client’s advertising campaign when appropriate, deal with escalations as needed, and prevent cancellations.
- You will counsel and direct Yelp advertisers by responding to a sizable number of incoming calls and emails.
- You can convince customers that Yelp is worthwhile by highlighting the investment returns using ad performance metrics.
- Your ability to ask perceptive questions and disarm objections will be essential to your success. You will become knowledgeable about Yelp’s advertising options and quickly adapt product recommendations to suit client needs.
- You will exhibit effective communication skills both internally and externally with clients and coworkers at Yelp.
- You’ll remain organized and productive even in a busy setting.
- Goals for the month will frequently be met or exceeded.
In order to succeed, you must:.
- At least three years of direct client contact experience or a bachelor’s degree are required.
- You have prior upselling and client retention experience (strong preference).
- You have the technical ability to use computers and information systems.
- You communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- You are an expert at resolving problems and conducting investigations.
- You’ve previously worked in small business, sales, marketing, or account management.
- You value local small businesses and are aware of the contribution they make to regional economies.
- Your excellent time management and organizational skills enable you to keep track of and complete a lot of details.
- With business owners, you are adept at having difficult conversations and coming up with practical solutions.
- You can balance consulting and supporting as needed.
- You’re prepared to accept feedback and use it to get better.
- You have the ability to adjust to a quick-paced, dynamic environment.
