 That’s what you’ll do.
  •  Assisting in disclosure preparation, coordination, and review will help with disclosures related to quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) filings. These primarily consist of Forms 10-Q and Forms 10-K, but other forms may be added as necessary.
  •  You will confirm that the aforementioned filings comply with SEC and U. compliant. The S.’s generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”) requirements, which include XBRL tagging.
  •  You will assist in organizing the review and approval of 10-Q and 10-K filings with the aid of significant parties, such as senior management at Yelp, external auditors, internal and external legal counsel, the Yelp Disclosure Committee, and the Audit Committee.
  •  You will help the Investor Relations team by supplying timely and accurate financial information, reviewing key earnings data, and offering additional insights in order to communicate Yelp’s results through the quarterly Shareholder Letter.
  •  You will review pertinent accounting literature, provide technical memos and instructions, and conduct relevant accounting literature reviews to ensure Yelp is accounting for any changes in accordance with U. SDO GAAP. This entails gathering information about and assessing new accounting pronouncements that will affect Yelp, overseeing the implementation of those new standards, and communicating the results to management, partners in business, and auditors.
  •  You will participate as needed in our month-end close process by creating/reviewing monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for your assigned areas of responsibility. This could include, among other things, stock compensation and capitalized software development costs.
  •  You will guarantee that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (“SOX”) requirements. You will also work with internal and external auditors to plan SOX testing, and you’ll make sure that any problems you find are fixed.
  •  You’ll support and manage a variety of other projects, including SOX-related ones like the implementation of control flowcharts or other new system implementations that have an effect on SOX or SEC reporting.
  •  You will oversee and manage the promptness of supporting documentation provided to auditors (PBC list) for both external financial reporting audits and SOX-related requests. You will also interact with them and respond to any queries they may have.
  •  You can become a valuable business partner by cooperating with relevant cross-functional stakeholders, including the larger Accounting team, FPandA, investor relations, legal, and tax, among others.

 Success requires the following.
  •  Your score is a B. S. /B. A. an academic qualification in business administration, accounting, or a related subject.
  •  Your experience must span a minimum of four years.
  •  You hold a CPA license or are pursuing one.
  •  Previously, you worked on SEC filings for a publicly traded company (either as a result of your auditing experience or your employment with a company).
  •  You ought to have previously worked in public accounting at one of the Big 4 firms, ideally.
  •  You have a solid understanding of US GAAP and accounting research methods.
  •  Your experience with Workiva’s Wdesk SEC filing program is ideal.
  •  You’ve dealt with outside auditors and are familiar with SOX.
  •  Microsoft Word and Excel are two programs you are proficient in.
  •  It’s admirable the level of detail you pay attention to.
