Full Job Description
- In order to deliver incremental and sustainable growth in user contribution, traffic, and revenue, the Business Operations and Strategy team is in charge of identifying areas for improvement and directing the strategy behind those operational changes. You will work cross-functionally as an analyst with various departments of our company to support these initiatives. We work with our sales organization to help create its incentive compensation system so that we can test new products and price points that will be provided to business owners. We plan with our marketing team in order to come up with fresh and more efficient ways to attract new customers. In order to develop novel strategies to encourage contribution (e. g. from Yelp users (reviews, pictures). We collaborate with our product teams to provide the necessary analysis when determining the most crucial product priorities.

- You will provide top-notch analytical support through useful Excel work, utilizing other tools (SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau) as necessary.
- You will identify actionable insights, use wise business judgment, make suggestions, and have an impact on Yelp’s business direction by working well with and communicating results to cross-functional groups.
- You will create Tableau dashboards that show KPIs, marketing effectiveness, and business trends and drivers.
To be successful, you need to:.
- Ideally, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, economics, or a closely related subject.
- You’ve previously used quantitative methods to address analytical issues in a business setting.
- You have come across a wide range of unique business operations and models.
- You excel at Excel modeling and have a strong interest in data analysis. An advantage is having SQL knowledge.
- You are an excellent problem solver who can effortlessly switch between high-level insights and minute data.
- You are very skilled with people, which makes it possible for you to work well with others and express yourself clearly.
- You can effectively interact and collaborate with both executive management and front-line staff.
