Yelp’s Midmarket team works with businesses with multiple locations to provide them with market-leading advertising solutions. Our native search advertising products offer good ROI by helping clients connect with potential customers at the bottom of the purchase funnel. The Midmarket team is rapidly growing, and a client’s advertising strategy now heavily relies on Yelp.
  •  We are looking for an experienced Senior Director, Midmarket Sales to remotely manage a team of Regional Directors who actively supervise Midmarket Sales Directors in all areas, from prospecting, pitching, and closing new business to generating additional revenue from Midmarket accounts. The Senior Director, Midmarket Sales, should have knowledge of coaching leaders through organizational change.

 You’ll act as follows.
  •  The midmarket’s most significant accounts will be under your management.
  •  With the help of multi-tiered approaches, a large network of contacts, quantifiable success metrics, winning campaigns, navigating attribution discussions, identifying and averting risks, and accurately forecasting opportunities, you will manage and train a team of regional sales directors.
  •  Mentoring leaders in coaching, metrics, new business development, and post-sale accounts is what you will do.
  •  You can anticipate meeting and exceeding your sales team’s quarterly quotas by holding your team accountable for actions that result in revenue.
  •  You’ll give management regular updates on the team’s activities, possibilities, and risks.
  •  You will implement strategic planning, forecasting, and ongoing coaching for leaders and the corresponding sales teams.
  •  It will be more productive, more efficient, and all of these things will be better.
  •  You’ll establish and keep up relationships with executives to support sales activities.
  •  You will support the closure of challenging, multimillion-dollar programs with your team.
 To succeed, you need:.
  •  At least five years have passed since you took charge of a group of leaders.
  •  You have more than ten years of pertinent Enterprise and/or Midmarket sales experience in the advertising and digital industries.
  •  You produce more than $30M in yearly income.
  •  Your prior performance demonstrates that you routinely surpass multimillion dollar sales targets.
  •  As a skilled communicator, you have a history of effective executive outreach.
  •  You have experience forming new partnerships as an entrepreneur.
  •  You have control over both important internal discussions with reps and client escalations.
  •  You can influence desired outcomes for all parties and navigate uncertainty successfully.
  •  Since you agree with Yelp’s mission, you naturally put the business and team first.
  •  You can travel between 30 and 50 percent of the time.
  •  You’ve demonstrated a history of effective internal communication and teamwork. You have a calm demeanor and are unhurried.
  •  You are eager and willing to put in the effort required to create something important for Yelp.
