Yelp is looking for a Senior Product Manager to develop innovative advertising features and algorithms. In this highly visible and important role, you will work on product areas that increase the advertising value of our marketplace for both local businesses and users by developing and whiteboarding ads features that will be released to the market.
If you like working with a cross-functional team of product managers, applied scientists, machine learning engineers, backend engineers, and others, and you want to play a significant role in the development of the advertising system at a billion-dollar company, this is the job for you.

Make formulas for pricing, matching, and ranking ads across various ad inventory sources.
Predictive models should be developed and used to efficiently distribute, match, and establish connections between advertisers and consumers.
Conduct and oversee analyses to thoroughly understand what is happening in our ads marketplace and identify new areas for our engineering teams to focus on.
The various elements of the ad auction should be optimized in order to improve value for advertisers and raise long-term revenue.

Either a bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience are required.
a background in physics, math, systems engineering, economics, or any other relevant field that enables you to be skilled at developing advertising features, as well as experience as a product manager in a relevant industry.
Tech-savvy: Has experience resolving challenging, business-critical technical problems Customer-driven: Energized by fostering revenue growth and translating customers’ wants and needs into concrete features.
Loves to take large, unstructured problems and break them down into smaller, more manageable problems. She can use iPython and SQL to perform her own analysis and then develop short- and long-term plans from those.
Effective communicators can combine and translate messages for technical and non-technical audiences, and they can persuade stakeholders from various organizational departments about difficult subjects.
Operational expertise: Constantly thinking about how to improve processes related to ad system dependability and metrics monitoring.
Strong collaborator who enjoys working with people from different teams, functions, and time zones.

It’s possible that this opportunity won’t be accessible at all in any US location.
$90,000 to $230,000 is the salary range per year. It’s possible that you’ll receive benefits and restricted stock units.
