Summary.

Please be aware that even though this job will be done remotely, a resident of the US’s Eastern Region is necessary. At this time, we are not considering candidates from the Bay Area.

An Inside Sales Representative (ISR) works closely with these local businesses to help them achieve their goals using Yelp’s various advertising programs. You can tailor each sale to help small business owners achieve their goals by learning about their needs and aspirations through phone conversations. We are successful when we help our clients’ businesses grow.
Because people are at the core of everything we do, one of your top priorities should be educating business owners about the value of Yelp’s advertising platform. In this role, you will be directly responsible for selling local businesses’ advertising space on Yelp in the US and Canada. Success in this position will be determined by your capacity to meet and surpass monthly sales goals, keep a steady lead on daily metrics, and handle rejection well. Teach, plan, and successfully sell Yelp advertising programs through a significant amount of outbound sales calls — this position is entirely phone-based.
Your objective is to contact as many companies as you can. Starting at 7:30 a.m., you’ll work one of the following shifts or as otherwise decided by your manager. m. (according to your local time). m. until 4:30 p. m. ; 8:30 a. 5:30 p.m. to mdot. M.; 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. m.
Organize and manage a pipeline of clients that consists of dentists, florists, and restaurant proprietors. This pipeline is organized in our CRM (Salesforce).
Say goodbye to that dreaded commute because you and your team will work from home on a set schedule, Monday through Friday, to sell advertising to small local businesses.
The secret to your success will be to become an expert in Yelp’s advertising solutions and quickly adapt product recommendations to client needs by asking perceptive questions and getting past resistance and rejection from customers.
You need to have a strong work ethic and tenacity if you want to reach and consistently surpass monthly sales targets.
As you are aware, sales is a numbers game, and you are here to win, so maintain organization and manage your time effectively to achieve your daily objectives.

OR two years or more of customer service experience and a GED or HS diploma.

First-year earnings range from $50k to $65k yearly through a combination of base pay and unlimited monthly sales incentives.
Year 2 earnings are $70k on target, with top performers averaging $112k.
$37,000 base salary with unlimited commissions initially.
