  •  Reporting to the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting, this position will be a member of the Corporate Accounting Team. The month-end accounting close is handled by this ambitious, fun, and collaborative team for all Yelp entities, including our international offices, before the results are combined and shared with internal and external stakeholders. This team is unique due to the breadth of experience it possesses, which was acquired through exposure to significant business partners and a wide range of financial topics.
  •  We would still love to receive your application even if you don’t believe you meet every single requirement in this job posting. At Yelp, we’re not just looking for people who can check the boxes; we’re looking for great people. It is a full-time remote position with an American base.
 You must complete the following.
  •  We will need your help with the planning, coordinating, and reviewing of disclosures related to quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) filings. These mainly consist of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, but other forms may be added as needed.
  •  It is your responsibility to ensure that the aforementioned filings are SEC and U. compliant. S. guidelines for XBRL tagging and generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”).
  •  With the help of important parties, including senior management of Yelp, external auditors, internal and external legal counsel, the Yelp Disclosure Committee, and Audit Committee, you will organize the review and approval of 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  •  You will help the Investor Relations team by supplying timely and accurate financial information, reviewing key earnings data, and offering additional insights in order to communicate Yelp’s results through the quarterly Shareholder Letter.
  •  You will conduct appropriate accounting literature reviews, provide technical memos and instructions, and make sure Yelp is accounting for any changes in accordance with U. GAAP for Sdot. In order to do this, one must conduct research, assess new accounting pronouncements that will affect Yelp, manage the implementation of those new standards, and then present the results to management, business partners, and auditors.
  •  You will support the creation/review of monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for your assigned areas of responsibility as part of our month-end close process as needed. For example, this could include stock compensation and capitalized software development costs.
  •  You will ensure that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (“SOX”) requirements. Together with internal and external auditors, you will coordinate the SOX testing and make sure that any issues are fixed.
  •  You will assist with and manage a variety of other projects, including those that are SOX-related, like the implementation of control flowcharts, or new system implementations that have an effect on SOX or SEC reporting.
  •  You will oversee and manage the promptness of supporting documentation provided to auditors (PBC list) for both external financial reporting audits and SOX-related requests. You will also interact with them and respond to any inquiries they may have.
  •  You will grow into a key business partner by collaborating with relevant cross-functional stakeholders, including the larger Accounting team, FPandA, investor relations, legal, and tax, among others.
  •  As part of monthly fluctuation analyses, you will examine financial statements for significant areas of responsibility and be able to present your findings to finance management.
  •  You will work on a variety of special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned, and you will have the ability to suggest process improvements for significant areas of accountability.
To succeed, the following is needed:.
  •  You received a B. S. /B. A. with a degree in business administration, accounting, or a related subject.

  •  It’s admirable how attentive you are to detail.
  •  You are able to prioritize multiple projects at once while still keeping to your deadline.
  •  Because you are a self-starter, you can work independently in a dynamic environment.
  •  You’ve demonstrated your ability to work effectively with people at all organizational levels to solve problems and achieve results.
