Yelp wants to develop cutting-edge advertising features and algorithms, so they need a senior product manager. In this highly visible and important position, you will work on product areas that increase the advertising value of our marketplace for both local businesses and users by developing and whiteboarding ads features that will be released to the market.

Make formulas for matching, ranking, and pricing ads from different ad inventory sources.
Create and use predictive models to efficiently distribute, match, and establish connections between advertisers and consumers.
To fully understand what is happening in our ads marketplace and to identify new areas for our engineering teams to focus on, conduct and oversee analyses.
The different aspects of the ad auction should be optimized in order to improve value for advertisers and raise long-term revenue.

The minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree, or the professional experience equivalent.
a background in physics, math, systems engineering, economics, or any other relevant field that enables you to be adept at developing advertising features, as well as experience as a product manager in a relevant industry.
Customer-driven organizations are motivated by increasing sales and turning the needs and wants of their clients into functional features. Has experience resolving difficult, crucial-to-business technical issues.
Problem-solver: Enjoys breaking down complex, unstructured problems into smaller, more manageable chunks and then coming up with short- and long-term strategies from there; you can conduct your own analysis using iPython and SQL.
Technical and non-technical audiences can be combined, and effective communicators can translate between them. They are also capable of influencing stakeholders from various organizational departments to show interest in difficult subjects.
Operational expertise: Constantly looks for ways to improve process effectiveness, and is diligent in improving procedures related to ad system dependability and metrics monitoring.
Strong collaborator who enjoys collaborating with people from different teams, functions, and timezones.

There is a possibility for this opportunity to be completely remote in every US state.
The salary varies from $90,000 to $230,000 per year. You might also receive benefits and restricted stock units.
