Summary.
- As the Boston Community Manager, you’ll be a full-time Yelp employee (working from home or wherever there is secure WiFi) in charge of a vibrant, buzzing community of locals who use Yelp to find places to eat, shop, and have fun in the city.
- Community managers are driven, self-motivated, charismatic, and well-organized because they have to juggle a variety of tasks both online and offline, from writing and moderating to party planning and ring leading.

You’ll perform the following.
- You’ll brainstorm, haggle, plan, and carry out cool, enjoyable, and buzzworthy (with a major wow factor!) events and parties.
- You can establish connections with customers and business owners both offline and online through social media platforms (including Yelp, of course).
- You will be in charge of organizing the neighborhood’s marketing efforts; you will make contact with the appropriate small businesses in the area and exchange weekly newsletter sponsorships for Yelp promotion.
- People will interact with you, and Yelper users will be encountered. go to local gatherings. to be seen and to be seen. situated there. turn into mayor. always on time.
- You will create persuasive pitches for venue owners and marketing partners as well as weekly persuading newsletters, daily inspiring reviews, and other regional content.
- They’ll look to you for accountability and effective communication from your team, peers, and the Yelp HQ staff who are on your side.

- You have motivation.

- You have a sizable amount of post-graduate professional experience.
- You fit the description of someone who enjoys writing. put your pencils down.
- A four-year degree from a college or university OR at least five years of experience organizing events or fostering community.

You will get the following.
