The newest division of Yelp, Agency and Partner Sales, is looking for an experienced salesperson with a history of success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. It’s an amazing opportunity to join a team at the very start of the Yelp business.
The primary responsibility of the Partner Account Executive is to develop business ties with SMB digital marketing agencies in order to bring Yelp new clients. These organizations collaborate with Yelp in order to resell and buy Yelp’s Local products.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid understanding of the business operations and be able to demonstrate the value of Yelp’s partnership program and product line. For this position, you must be extremely motivated, active, and have the ability to create new business through strategic alliances. The ideal candidate employs a consultative sales approach while learning about agency models and figuring out the requirements and selection standards of your prospects. You are ultimately responsible for achieving your revenue targets.

Yelp and SMB (primarily local) digital marketing companies should work together to connect their clients.
Create consultative sales presentations to demonstrate how Yelp’s advertising products can be utilized to connect with customers.
Plan training sessions to help the agency improve its campaign planning and execution skills.
In addition to positively influencing the team’s overall goals, consistently exceed the management-set quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Develop and maintain partner relationships to make sure you surpass your goals.
To meet growth expectations, identify new agency alliances that will satisfy Yelp partner compliance requirements.
Make a map of the agencies’ organizational structure and mark the key decision-makers, budget owners, and decision-making processes.
Weekly forecasts and exact sales plans should be sent.
Establish communication with agencies frequently to maintain a strong partnership with Yelp and to confirm the needs of advertisers.
Collaboration between cross-functional teams will help you increase sales with new clients.
Bring a winning attitude and frame of mind to work every day.

You’ve been selling digital advertising or overseeing partnerships with agencies for at least two years.
demonstrated success in hitting sales goals in a previous position.
senior marketers’ practical knowledge.
Knowledge of pay per click advertising is advantageous.
exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Flexibility, a spirit of entrepreneurship, and the ability to work well under pressure are all required.
has a strong drive to achieve goals, plays well with others, and is self-motivated.
proficient in PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Excel.
