 In this role, you will.
  •  Help the financial advisor(s) with sales, service, and operational-related duties like assisting clients over the phone, in person, or through written correspondence.
  •  Organize and prepare for meetings with new or prospective clients. Assist Financial Advisors and Clients with requests for account-related details and/or quotes.
  •  Create and maintain client accounts, produce paperwork, and look into any questions or issues with accounts.
  •  May also perform a variety of administrative duties for the Financial Advisor(s) and Branch Management, such as tracking referrals, planning and executing marketing campaigns, creating and maintaining files to meet regulatory requirements for the firm, and creating and maintaining filing and record-keeping necessary to support efforts to service and build client relationships.

  •  2+ years of experience in brokerage and client services, or equivalent, as demonstrated by any one or a combination of the following: education, training, work experience, and/or military service.
  •  completed the Series 7 and 63 tests offered by FINRA, or obtained a score good enough for immediate registration with FINRA.

  •  having the ability to provide administrative assistance, including answering inquiries and requests for information from prospective clients and customers.

 The following are the requirements for the position:.
  •  One must obtain the required FINRA license(s) and/or keep them current in order to continue working in this position.
  •  State law must be followed when fulfilling registration and licensing requirements.
  •  Additional to the registration and licensing requirements set forth by the state, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may be required.
  •  Additional requirements include adhering to more stringent standards for financial stability and criminal history.
  •  Wells Fargo will begin the FINRA licensing review process at the time the offer is accepted.
  •  It’s possible that certain FINRA qualification exams taken after September 30, 2018, will also require the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite.

The FINRA Background Screening Requirements for this position include passing and clearing a background check. Article III, Section 3 of the FINRA Bylaws, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification, and 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, both apply to internal transfers. Successful candidates must also follow all current regulatory requirements, which may also involve additional screening and reporting specific incidents.
