The group in charge of content accounting is responsible for ensuring that the content and transactions associated with it are reported truthfully and promptly in accordance with U. GAAP Sdot. The team is looking for a Manager in order to expand in Europe.

 Responsibilities:.
  •  Cross-functional relationships should continue to exist between the teams in our London office, including the content finance/EMEA finance, tax, legal, and content acquisition organizations. All forms of content will be covered by this.
  •  Assist the Los Angeles accounting team in ensuring that the company’s content commitments, assets (capitalization), liabilities (payments), and expenses (amortization) are accurate.
  •  managing cross-functional partners in our London office who are in charge of keeping track of the content and content-related contracts for our own and licensed titles.
  •  Examining the documentation of content agreements includes understanding the terms of the contracts and how our accounting policies should be applied.
  •  Drive process improvements to support exciting projects that achieve management reporting, scalability, efficiency, and the core accounting framework.
 Qualifications:.
  •  You have at least ten years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or an equivalent academic degree, and a background in business economics. You are also working toward (or have already attained) a postgraduate degree in accounting, such as an ACA, CA, or CPA. If you have any public accounting experience, that would be ideal.
  •  You must have a solid background in accounting and be confident navigating technical accounting guidance under UK GAAP, IFRS, or another similar set of accounting standards (with a firm grasp of the distinctions from U. S. SDO GAAP).
  •  You are respected as a capable cross-functional business partner, and you are a strong communicator both orally and in writing.
  •  You are open to new or challenging ideas that are put forth by others and are constantly looking for ways to improve current processes (making them more meaningful and effective).
  •  You make wise decisions independently, listen to others, prioritize issues, and know when to escalate situations.
  •  You have knowledge of using data analysis to make judgments. You have a strong desire to learn more about subjects that fall outside of your purview.
