Our native search advertising products deliver strong ROI by helping clients connect with potential customers at the bottom of the purchase funnel. A client’s advertising strategy now heavily relies on Yelp, and the Midmarket team is rapidly growing.
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Director, Midmarket Sales to remotely manage a team of Regional Directors who actively supervise Midmarket Sales Directors in all areas, from prospecting, pitching, and closing new business to generating additional revenue from existing Midmarket accounts. The Senior Director, Midmarket Sales, should have knowledge of coaching leaders through organizational change.

You must complete the following.
- You’ll be in charge of the most significant Midmarket accounts.
- A team of regional sales directors will be under your direction as they develop effective sales strategies. These tactics will include using multi-tiered approaches, building a sizable network of contacts, defining quantifiable success metrics, developing successful campaigns, navigating attribution discussions, identifying and averting risks, and accurately forecasting opportunities.
- You will coach leaders about activity, metrics, coaching, and leadership in order to increase revenue from post-sale accounts and new business.
- Your sales team will meet and surpass quarterly quotas if you make sure they are in charge of duties that lead to revenue generation.
- You will keep management informed of team activities, opportunities, and risks on a regular basis.
- You will implement strategic planning, forecasting, and ongoing coaching for leaders and the corresponding sales teams.
- Improvements will be seen in the processes, productivity, and efficiency.
- You’ll establish and keep up relationships with executives to support sales activities.
- You will assist in completing challenging, multimillion-dollar programs with the aid of your team.
To succeed, the following is necessary:.
- You have overseen a group of leaders for at least five years.
- You have more than ten years of relevant Enterprise and/or Midmarket sales experience in the advertising and digital industries.
- You generate annual revenue of more than $30 million.
- You frequently surpass sales targets in the millions of dollars.
- You have a history of effective executive outreach and are a gifted communicator.
- You’ve built partnerships from nothing because you’re a seasoned businessperson.
- You can control both client escalations and crucial rep-to-rep conversations.
- You can navigate uncertainty while guiding people toward desired outcomes.
- Because you support Yelp’s mission, you naturally put the company and team first.
- Travel accounts for between 30 and 50 percent of the time.
- You have a reputation for internal cooperation and productive working partnerships. You are calm and relaxed.
- You’re willing to put in the work and produce a significant project for Yelp.
