What to be prepared for.

Tesla is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and experienced data analyst to support the operations of its international and regional distribution centers. You will work cross-functionally with Global Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Planning, Service, Finance, Quality, and Facilities to collect, measure, visualize, and interpret data. You will then use that information to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

Interpret data, assess results, and generate ongoing reports.

technical expertise in data modeling, database development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
knowledge of and experience with reporting tools in-depth (such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. ). databases (like SQL), interactive dashboards, programming (like XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks), and databases.
experience and knowledge in statistics (including SAS, SPSS, and Excel). (for dataset analysis) with statistical software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, arrange, organize, analyze, and disseminate a significant amount of information accurately and with attention to detail.
competent in gathering information, writing analyses, and communicating conclusions.
a desire to learn and employ a variety of best practices for warehousing and supply chains.
a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a closely related subject.
