As an accounting manager on the Revenue Accounting team, you’ll collaborate with other Starbucks teams to support new business initiatives and lead a high-performing team that manages the accounting processes for more than 10,000 company-owned retail locations across the US, Canada, and EMEA. • Oversee accounting processes and provide clients with detailed instructions on how accounting will affect matters like cash receipts, new business ventures, store openings and closings, and comp sales reporting.
• Create fresh concepts and collaborate with others to put them into practice in order to improve the systems, internal checks, and working procedures that have an effect on the month- and quarter-end financial close and reporting.
• Teach and inspire partners to meet business objectives, challenge the status quo, and pursue continuous improvement. You can develop your partners as a result and build a productive team. Engage high-performing partners in ongoing, thoughtful development conversations to draw them in, keep them around, and help them grow to meet the demands of a growing business.

• Supervising a group of accountants for a sizable multinational company that is traded publicly.
• Prior management or oversight experience.
• Collaborating across functional boundaries with the operations and business teams to implement accounting solutions for new business activities.
• The ability to speak clearly in a variety of situations and formats, including when presenting accounting findings and concepts to financial and business leaders.
• It is preferred if you have prior experience with the Blackline modules for accounts, matching, and journals.
• Working knowledge of public accounting or certification as a CPA would be advantageous.

It’s necessary to have a bachelor’s degree. preferably with an education in finance, accounting, or a related field.
