The WBA’s Director of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Communications is in charge of U. S. Communications for the Chief DEI Officer and SVP, ESG of WBA, U. For WBA sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), there should be internal and external enterprise-wide communications and reporting. S.; and is in charge of organizing the company’s yearly global ESG report and launch.

 The position’s obligations.

•  oversees the development, implementation, and oversight of sophisticated communications plans, strategies, and messaging that support the Company’s leaders and programs.
•  accountable for managing relationships with executives from external partners and alliances in the communications industry as well as leaders from those organizations’ external partners and alliances.
•  manages interactions with prestigious national and trade media.
•  communicates in a strategic way about projects that are important to the company and its core business operations.
•  It is produced, developed, and used to communicate creatively. the determination of the target audience, the creation of communication that will captivate and pique the audience’s interest, and the dissemination of messages that will strengthen and promote the business and foster goodwill among customers and/or employees.
•  follows developments and issues both internally and externally. ensures that the company’s communication puts it in the best possible position with important stakeholders, customers, and employees.
•  participates in the development and implementation of an annual strategy and plan that is integrated with and supports the main business goals of the company for the assigned area of responsibility.
•  Develops and executes communications plans for challenging, significant business initiatives and events, including setting objectives and strategies, developing appropriate messaging, managing project deadlines, and managing contributions and expectations.
•  assumes a representative role in communications to make sure that the company’s stances, corporate goals, and objectives are effectively communicated to all audiences. establishes the messaging’s target audiences and develops communications that the reader will find interesting.
•  mastery of the business unit and the relevant fields.
•  responsible for leading, guiding, and developing direct reports. discovers and creates, in partnership with leaders, compelling stories and messages that highlight Walgreens as a top employer and employer of choice in relation to business objectives, employee profiles, and company activities.

 Minimum requirements.

•  either a high school diploma/GED and at least 9 years of experience creating, OR a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience developing, implementing, and integrating communications plans. implementing and incorporating communication plans.
•  knowledge of leading teams from various functions.
•  experience influencing and challenging the thought processes of business leaders.
•  using AP style in writing and editing.
•  project management expertise, including the capacity to organize, coordinate, and monitor the use of resources to successfully accomplish a project’s goals and objectives.
•  working knowledge of scheduling and managing many projects.
•  working understanding of change management methodologies.
•  creation, implementation, and management of departmental capital and expense budgets for at least two years.
•  3 or more years of direct leadership or managing teams from different departments.

 Preferred qualifications.

•  A major in journalism, English, or communications is acceptable.
•  working closely with senior executives and experience assisting leadership communications..
