Full Job Description

The company is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Global Securities Aggregation Platform (GSAP) team to support the collection of securities from across the Wells Fargo enterprise. The position will work closely with the stakeholders in the product to manage requirements, establish task priorities, and provide solutions for processing securities position and security master reference data. The candidate must possess expertise in risk management and related financial services. With significant impacts on senior management, lines of business, compliance/audit functions, and regulatory agencies both internally and externally, GSAP is used to support essential present and future regulatory monitoring and reporting Risk Management processes.

In this position, you will.

Participate actively in the creation of standards and best practices that apply to the entire organization when developing complex and extensive technology solutions.
Design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation are required for projects and programs.
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technological solutions for tactical and strategic business goals, the enterprise technological landscape, and technical problems that demand in-depth analysis of many different factors, such as intangibles or novel technical factors.
Establish standards and best practices for the industry that apply to engineering and technology solutions that call for knowledge of both current and emerging technologies. You’ll also be in charge of leading the technology team to meet deadlines and advance new initiatives.
Collaborate with senior technology team members, important technical experts, and outside industry groups to solve complex technical problems and achieve goals.

Assist users, developers, and other team members in determining and analyzing user needs as well as in compiling information for regulatory reporting and monitoring equity aggregation compliance.
Investigate user/stakeholder and technology requests in order to produce precise and effective functional requirements that are logged in JIRA as fully developed stories.
Analyze data and take part in data management-related design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation tasks.
Workflows, process flows, and data flows for users can be recorded using Visio (and/or other tools).
Maintain and manage the project’s deadlines and deliverables while taking the lead in a project or system’s documentation.
Make sure the technology teams and the users are always in touch.

These are the prerequisites:.

As evidenced by any one or a combination of the following: education, training, work experience, and/or military service, experience in software engineering, or equivalent.
experience working in the financial services sector as well as knowledge of securities, such as stocks and fixed income instruments.
Understanding of the Agile framework, with an emphasis on the management of requirements (epics and stories), and the related software, such as JIRA and Confluence.
a working understanding of requirements visualization, including use case and process flow creation.
