WORK

Plan, adjust, operate and manage the inventory of color printing machines to maintain near maximum operational speed.
Analyze and understand job descriptions to find the right working stocks, identifying the impact/thread of the material, grain, size, different sheets, grip/direction and other product characteristics to ensure 100% accuracy of products that go into the book. Understand the characteristics of ink, including UV, pms, and spot color, among others, to ensure the quality of inkwell products at all times.
Assists with laundry, mounting covers, mounting plates and other duties assigned to reporter. Maintain a safe environment for workers and machines, while following all company safety guidelines and company safety procedures and policies.
Maintain clean machinery in the work area with good knowledge of enforcement and maintenance. Ability to understand refractometers, torque wrenches, micrometers, conductivity meters, and other basic press tools while using them to maintain adequate chemical distribution, measure stocks, wrap, and blanket, and blanket removal.

MINIMUM POINTS

Good understanding and ability to understand through less complex training, resources and print features.
Ability to apply 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds frequently. Ability to stand and work required up to 12 hours with short breaks.
Ability to use micrometer press, refractometers, torque wrenches and precision press tools. Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures.
Passing time is expected. The ability to maintain high numbers and time records.
