 HOW DO AWS CLOUD SUPPORT ENGINEERS WORK?

  •  This job primarily entails providing cloud-based customer support.
  •  The primary duties of a support engineer on an average day will be to handle customer issues via phone, email, and web/live chat. You will employ sophisticated troubleshooting methods to deliver catered solutions for our customers and foster customer interactions by carefully working with customers to delve deeply into the root cause of an issue.

 OVERALL REQUIREMENTS.
  •  a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, information science, data science, engineering, or a related field; OR, equivalent experience in a technical position.
  •  system administration expertise in Linux (Ubuntu).
  •  advanced understanding of network troubleshooting (including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, or related technologies).
  •  total familiarity with hypervisors, vmware, and xen, as well as cloud computing.
 QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRIORITY.
  •  able to run full application stacks, from the operating system to custom programs, including all of their dependencies.
  •  knowledge of AWS and the concepts of cloud computing.
