Conditions:

Industrial nurses care for and treat patients with work-related illnesses and injuries. Take care of employees whenever they have a work-related illness or injury. Manages OSHA-related compliance activities; acts as a medical liaison between management, physicians and hourly staff; monitor and analyze health care costs and safety cost structures; and report the recommendation to the management team; overseeing health and safety services in the building (ie, purchasing personal protective equipment, hearing aid programs, accident reporting and accident investigation). Provide drug testing and medical evaluation.

Is required:

Education: Two-year Diploma in Nursing, specializing in CPR. Clear the National Council Licensure Examination (NCL-EX) to practice as a licensed nurse.
Skills: Observation and analysis of the user and work environment
Must be comfortable working with patients with a variety of medical conditions and personalities. Computer skills to store patient history and data.
Provide care throughout the transition. The book of disease injury.
Assess the work environment for potential exposures
Travel: None

Functions:

Caring for and caring for injured or sick people at work. To emergency personnel.
Report any apparent discrepancies to management and higher authority. Perform all duties including checking vital signs regularly, being alert to any complaints of patient discomfort, attending immediately and seeking medical advice if necessary.
Let the doctor know if the patient has developed a new problem or illness. Document and record all workplace injuries.
Provide drug screening to new employees, report accidents and suspicions. Conduct health screenings for new employees.
Make employees aware of the dangers of workplace accidents. Maintain employee compensation files and lost work time records.
Other duties as assigned.
