The team in charge of content accounting is accountable for ensuring that transactions involving content and transactions related to content are reported promptly, accurately, and in accordance with U.S. SDO GAAP. The team is seeking a Manager to support our growing team in Europe.

  •  The teams in our London office, including the content finance/EMEA finance, tax, legal, and content acquisition organizations, should maintain their cross-functional connections. This holds true for all forms of content.
  •  Assist the Los Angeles-based accounting team members in ensuring the integrity of the business’s content commitments, assets (capitalization), liabilities (payments), and expenses (amortization).

  •  You must have a solid background in accounting and be confident navigating technical accounting guidance under UK GAAP, IFRS, or another similar set of accounting standards (with a solid grasp of the distinctions from U. S. GAAP Sdot).
  •  You are regarded as a reliable cross-functional business partner and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  You are always looking for ways to make existing practices better (more efficient and meaningful), and you are open to hearing new or challenging ideas when they are put forth by others. With the way things are, you can never be happy.
