Job Description

 

The Senior Concept Artist will create exciting concepts and full game art for our mobile game titles. You will work as part of a creative team responsible for creating game assets for existing and new titles. You will work closely with internal and external teams to create character and environmental graphics.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Define and distribute highly effective art assets following IP-defined playstyle standards. Create a proven player facing technical expertise that fulfills the product’s vision, mission and high goals.
  • Play an important role in defining the identity of the brand with a clear and unique visual identity that is consistent with the product’s purpose and tells a story. Ensure that all advertising and assets truly capture the marketing value of the game show.
  • Create new and original ideas and make 2d models. Create a bulletin board to discuss ideas and provide direction to all members.
  • Describe the technical skills that can be used to describe the character and natural environment
  • Provide iconography examples to support motion graphics efforts. Collaborate and liaise with various game product teams and IP managers to ensure our branding is appropriate.
  • Lead by example, creating a strong sense of purpose in the community, and promoting a culture of excellence. Demonstrate trust, responsibility and professionalism in all work-related interactions.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Good command of Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Excellent ability to create high-quality enhancements in various forms.
  • Professional in digital graphics with the ability to market and improve the gamer’s face. Able to handle multiple tasks collaboratively and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with little direction.
  • Good communication, organizational and leadership skills. A collaborative group centric approach has a good ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to mentor and inspire artists in the same discipline. Knowledge of motion design in After Effects or Spine is a big plus.
  • Education and experience
  • 10 years of experience in a mobile game business or related creative environment. Course experience book.
  • Excellent understanding of composition and color theory. Working knowledge of graphic/visual/stylistic techniques in art, film and games.
  • Excellent understanding of branding and marketing intelligence. Proficient in a wide range of marketing materials such as web graphics, social media, creative media, photography, posters and videos.
