In addition to managing relationships with VFX vendors and crew members, reviewing budgets and schedules based on pitches, treatments, and scripts, and evaluating and commenting on work creatively, the position necessitates close cooperation with our internal creative and production teams. It also calls for the ability to support our production partners and filmmakers. You’ll also be expected to lead the charge for visual effects and excel at cross-functional communication for Netflix.

•  Manage the cost reports and VFX delivery status tracking. working closely with the VFX Producers to anticipate and fix any budget and schedule issues. Make sure the production is productive, that deadlines are honored, and that expenses are controlled.
•  You can help create and maintain a weekly reporting system to give the show VFX producers a clear weekly snapshot of the budget, schedule, and VFX development.
•  reviewing VFX finals with the VFX Producer and VFX Supervisor to make sure that only top-notch work is produced.
•  building relationships with startup companies and conducting research. keeping an eye on the talent market.
•  technical proficiency in visual effects creation, including familiarity with 4K pipelines and new technologies for streamlining procedures.
