DESCRIPTION:

•  The Screening Operations Team organizes a variety of screenings and reviews in Netflix’s own facilities while providing exceptional service to Netflix’s Content Creative teams and the producers of Netflix original shows. •  We’re looking for a Specialist to join our EMEA team in London to support and manage various review use cases within our internal post-production and exhibition facilities.
•  The ideal candidate is a post-production imaging and sound subject matter expert with expertise in all relevant scientific, technological, artistic, and technical aspects of the fields. We are looking for a proactive strategic thinker who can take the lead on their own projects and initiatives and collaborate with partners and coworkers from various functional areas.

 You’ll help the team in charge of screening operations.

•  In Netflix-owned facilities, support directors, DOPs, showrunners, and other talent well.
•  Manage and facilitate technical and creative reviews, such as those for sound mix and color grade.
•  You should perform routine color calibration and maintenance tasks, reach the highest level of room confidence possible, and ensure an accurate playback experience.
•  oversee and provide support for the online review sections in the London post facilities owned by Netflix partners.
•  To assist with content management and delivery, communicate with the internal post-production teams and external vendors.
•  Wiring, patching, and software configuration should all be performed to tailor the setup to the needs of the shows and their goals.
•  Cross-functional teams should collaborate to identify priorities for real-time technology issues and then work to resolve them.
•  Verify asset integrity on incoming media and screening materials.
•  Together with the EMEA team as a whole, provide remote support for additional local facilities.

 Qualifications.

•  prior practical experience with a studio, broadcaster, or post-production facility.
•  comprehensive knowledge of digital audio and video file formats, preferably with IMF, Dolby Atmos, HDR, and Dolby Vision experience.
•  capable of operating programs like ProTools, DaVinci Resolve, and Colorfront Transkoder at the operator level for production and post-production.
•  working knowledge of both synchronous and asynchronous review collaboration and streaming solutions.
•  knowledge of communications protocols for data, video, and audio.
•  experience calibrating displays, preferably with CalMAN or a comparable program.
•  Knowing Shotgun, Avid Media Composer, Clipster, Baselight, or MTI Cortex is a plus.
•  Fluency in English at the business level is required.
