We are looking to expand our security engineering team, which is a part of the Special Programs, Evaluations, Assessments and Response (SPEAR) Team, and are looking for a technical program manager with experience and skill. The duties of this position include developing metrics and guiding roadmaps. You’ll spend a lot of time using project management software to initiate and oversee projects. Working with stakeholders will allow you to develop requirements and aid in the delivery of security products. This position has a remote work environment and requires 15% of the time to travel. To strengthen the security posture of Amazon sites worldwide, you will collaborate with a team of knowledgeable engineers and security experts.

- You will direct the numerous interdisciplinary projects SPEAR is currently working on in your capacity as a technical program manager.
- By utilizing your security and technical know-how, you will adhere to all deadlines and SPEAR’s stringent specifications.
- You will play a key role in the chain, collaborating with internal and external security, engineering, and operational teams to make sure SPEAR is integrated with other security programs in a timely and long-lasting manner.
- You’ll use technology to drive automation, deliver process improvements, and benefit SPEAR and our stakeholders. This will help us achieve our mission more effectively and raise the bar for AWS physical security.
- Directly manage security campaigns, projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Separate security goals into doable, quantifiable work streams.
- Establish connections and guide the engineering teams’ delivery efforts.
- Use data-driven dashboards and status reports to communicate.
- Clearly define the technical requirements and develop road maps.
- Propose a schedule and manage the priorities.
