This position will be a part of the Corporate Accounting Team and will answer to the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting. What you will do is:.

In relation to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (“SEC”) quarterly filings, you will assist in the planning and coordination of disclosures. These may also contain other forms in addition to Forms 10-Q and 10-K, as appropriate.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the aforementioned filings are SEC and U. compliant. S. requirements for generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), including XBRL tagging.
You will support the Investor Relations team in its efforts to communicate Yelp’s results through the quarterly Shareholder Letter by delivering timely and accurate financial data, reviewing key earnings data, and offering additional insights.
You will perform pertinent accounting literature reviews, provide technical memos and instructions, and conduct accounting literature reviews to make sure Yelp is accounting for any changes in accordance with U. SDO GAAP. This entails looking into, analyzing, and documenting current accounting pronouncements that will have an impact on Yelp.
You will help with the creation of monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the areas of responsibility as part of our month-end close procedure. Capitalized software development costs and stock compensation are two examples of what might be included here.
You will guarantee that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (“SOX”) specifications. Coordinate SOX testing with internal and external auditors as well, and make sure that any problems are fixed.
You’ll assist with and manage a variety of other initiatives, including SOX-related ones like the implementation of control flowcharts or other brand-new system launches that have an effect on SOX or SEC reporting.
You will collaborate with relevant cross-functional stakeholders, including, among others, the larger Accounting team, FPandA, investor relations, legal, and tax.
Financial statement analytics for key areas of responsibility will be carried out as part of your monthly fluctuation analyses with finance management, and you will be able to articulate your results.
You will work on a range of original projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

In order to succeed, you must:.

Your grade was a B. S. /B. A. a degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
Your experience is at least two years old.
You are a CPA or actively working toward becoming one.
If you have experience working on SEC filings for a publicly traded company, it would be ideal if you have a background in auditing or prior employment with a company.
US GAAP and accounting research techniques are things you are familiar with.
You’re used to SOX.
You’re competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Your attention to detail is outstanding.
You are able to prioritize several projects while working on them simultaneously, frequently in a hectic environment, all while staying on schedule to complete tasks.
You communicate very well both orally and in writing.
With the capacity to follow through and successfully implement process improvement, you possess strong analytical skills.
You’ve used Oracle accounting systems in the past, though it’s not necessary.
You exhibit a sense of teamwork.

The annual salary range for this position is £50912 – £85119. Added bonuses and advantages might be provided to you.
