Full Job Description

Yelp’s newest division, Agency and Partner Sales, is looking for a sales professional with experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. The opportunity to join a team at the very start of the Yelp business is fantastic.

The Partner Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to generate new business for Yelp by fostering relationships with SMB digital marketing agencies. For the purpose of purchasing and reselling Yelp’s Local products, these businesses collaborate with the company.

The ideal candidate for this position will be capable of understanding the business’s operations quickly and highlighting the advantages of Yelp’s product line and partnership program. For this position, it takes a highly motivated, high-energy individual who can create strategic partnerships and bring in new business. The ideal candidate employs a consultative sales approach while learning about agency models and determining the requirements and selection standards of your prospects. Meeting your revenue targets will be primarily your responsibility.

 You’ll carry out:.
  •  Establish a collaborative working relationship between Yelp advertisers and SMB digital marketing firms (primarily local).
  •  Create consultative sales presentations to demonstrate how to connect with customers using Yelp’s advertising products.
  •  Plan training sessions to help the agency become more skilled at creating and executing effective campaigns.
  •  exceeding the management-established quarterly and annual revenue targets while positively influencing the team’s overall objectives.
  •  Develop and maintain partner relationships to make sure you surpass your goals.
  •  Determine new agency alliances that will meet Yelp partner compliance requirements as necessary to meet growth expectations.
  •  The process for making decisions within the agencies should be identified, as should the main decision-makers and budget owners. Draw a diagram showing the agencies’ organizational structure.
  •  Provide accurate sales forecasts for each week.
  •  Regularly communicate with agencies to forge connections, confirm advertisers’ requirements, and keep Yelp’s partnership in the spotlight.
  •  Cooperate with cross-functional teams to bring in new clients and boost revenue.
  •  Bring a positive attitude and a drive for success to the office every day.
 The following are the requirements for success.
  •  You’ve been selling digital advertising for at least two years, or you’ve been dealing with agency partners.
  •  successfully met sales goals in a prior position.
  •  working knowledge of senior marketers.
  •  Knowing about pay per click advertising is advantageous.
  •  excellent communication and presentation skills.
  •  Flexibility and the mindset of a startup are required for success in a highly dynamic, fast-paced workplace.
  •  is self-motivated, a team player with a strong desire to achieve goals, and motivated by himself.
  •  excels at PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Excel.
