Web application developers are an essential part of the Disney Destinations International team because they support the e-commerce platform and portfolio of marketing microsites for the worldwide operations of Walt Disney Travel Company.
We are looking for a skilled C developer to collaborate closely with the development team in order to maintain and update the custom e-commerce platform and take a proactive approach in evolving the back-end technology stack built on an ASP. the NET architecture.
You will encourage the incorporation of technologies and development methodologies to advance the objectives of the business and ensure a reliable, scalable platform.
Four days a week, you must be present for this job.

Responsibilities:.

By providing technical expertise to deliver complex solutions over the course of the entire development life, you can support the development of the back end of websites.
Make innovative features for a regionalized ASP. Contribute features that are moving to the NET MVC 5 platform from the ASP e-commerce platform.
using OO design and architectural patterns, TDD, and other methods such as SOLID principles. write scalable, fault-tolerant code that is easy to maintain.
Look into preventative measures to stay current with technology and enhance upcoming business offerings.

knowledge and skills needed:.

strong familiarity with SOAP WebServices and RESTful WebAPIs.
proficient with SQL Server and T-SQL queries.
knowing how to use automated build services (e. g. such as GitLab, Cake, and TeamCity. ).
knowledge of frameworks for unit testing (e. g. MOQ, NUnit, and other terms. ).
HTML, JS, and CSS practical knowledge are examples of client-side technologies.
exceptional git source code management skills.
familiarity with issue tracking tools (e. g. JIRA).
understanding of database and application bottlenecks and performance tuning.
Possessing knowledge of the following would be ideal.
customized web applications for e-commerce.
The NET ORMs (i. g. Organizational Framework).
SDL Tridion (or an enterprise CMS that is comparable).
Ninject, Autofac, and other IOC containers are examples.
