  • A key position on the Disney Destinations International team, the Web Application Developer supports the e-commerce platform and portfolio of marketing microsites for Walt Disney Travel Company International.
  •  We are looking for an experienced C developer to work closely with the development team to maintain and update the unique e-commerce platform while taking a proactive approach in evolving the back-end technology stack built on an ASP. the framework for the NET.
  •  You’ll encourage the integration of technologies and development methodologies to aid the company’s growth and ensure a reliable, scalable platform.
  •  For this position, you must be available four days per week.
 Responsibilities:.
  •  Support back-end website development with your technical expertise in order to deliver complex solutions throughout the entire development life.
  •  Create new features for a localized application server. features that are moving to the NET MVC 5 platform from the ASP e-commerce platform.
  •  Produce maintainable, scalable, fault-tolerant code by utilizing SOLID principles, OO design and architectural patterns, TDD, and other methods.
  •  By actively researching and exploring, try to stay on the cutting edge of technology and enhance your upcoming commercial offerings.
 Required knowledge and expertise:.
  •  a thorough understanding of SOAP WebServices and RESTful WebAPIs.
  •  able to execute T-SQL and SQL Server queries.
  •  familiarity with CI and automated build services (e. g. like Cake, TeamCity, and GitLab. ).
  •  understanding of unit testing frameworks (e. g. MOQ, NUnit, and other terms. ).
  •  practical experience with HTML, JS, and CSS.
  •  possessing excellent source code management skills with git.
  •  having familiarity with issue-tracking software (e. g. JIRA).
  •  application/database bottlenecks should be recognized and their performance optimized.
  •  Possessing knowledge of the following would be ideal.
  •  e-commerce-specific custom web applications.
  •  ORMs for NET, e. g. g. Structure for Entities).
  •  (Or a similar business content management system) SDL Tridion.
  •  IOC containers (like Autofac and Ninject).
