The role of Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) is to support this mission by providing strategic insights by first understanding business processes and later utilizing data and analytics to support ongoing improvement initiatives.
•  To create novel solutions to today’s business problems, the senior data analyst will work closely with teams and leadership.
•  In order to use data to improve things, we need candidates who are curious about data, want to understand how things work, and can communicate with our business partners. In addition, they should be able to lead a project from start to finish without much direction from a manager, including gathering business requirements, working with all project participants, and delivering results to the stakeholder.

 Responsibilities:.

•  Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for analysis, strategy, and project development.
•  using SQL, Python, etc. large datasets to manage. to understand performance and spot opportunities.
•  To quickly support departmental initiatives, create and manage multisource data sets.
•  Make use of cutting-edge tools and choose clever ways to communicate data and analysis to satisfy divisional needs.
•  To assist teams and leadership, create and improve automated reports and analyses.
•  Support the project management and engagements for process improvement of cross-divisional initiatives.
•  Share the analytics’ findings with the leadership.
•  Train and mentor other team members in a variety of disciplines.
•  Throughout all operational steps and protocols, act in a safe manner.

 Minimum requirements must be met in order to succeed.

• A GED or a high school diploma.
• It is preferred that you have at least a year’s worth of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or a related quantitative field.
• The ideal candidates should be familiar with and/or have experience using SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire, or other database interface tools and languages.
• A requirement is the capacity for both solitary and collaborative work.
• Basic functional programming tools like UNIX, Perl, Python, Visual Basic, etc.

 What (preferred qualifications) will give you a competitive edge?

•  a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information science, business/management, mathematics/statistics, economics, or another relevant quantitative field.
•  You should preferably possess advanced level proficiency in managing a reporting database environment, troubleshooting, and automating reporting in Teradata/AWS and Python/SQL.
