 Minimum standards.

•  a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of IT security experience, OR a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and at least 9 years of IT security experience.
•  a minimum of four years’ experience working with mitigation and countermeasure methods for web applications, security standards, packet analyzers, scripting languages, security management suites, and tools for penetration testing.
•  knowledge of identity engineering, security applications engineering, or security infrastructure engineering.
•  Expertise in establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all organizational levels, in the business world, and with suppliers.
•  executive interaction capabilities.
•  influencing financial decisions at work for at least two years.
•  a minimum of three years of direct or indirect team leadership experience across functional lines.
•  being willing to travel for both within-state and outside-of-state business up to or at least 10% of the time.

 Preferred qualifications.

•  expert in automated security testing.
•  expert in automating and orchestrating security events.
•  profundity in cloud security principles and experience with them.
•  knowledge of managing access and identities.
•  expert-level proficiency in at least one of Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Perl, etc.
•  The possession of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or mathematics is strongly preferred.
•  One’s toolkit of time management techniques should include setting priorities, planning, keeping track of, and meeting deadlines for numerous projects with various due dates.
•  knowledge of collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to find issues, patterns, or outliers that can be used to enhance results and find solutions.
•  the CISA or CISSP is preferred.
