Job description

Job Title: Senior Data Entry
Job Type: Permanent
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am-5pm)
Location: Port of Ellesmere
The main objective of the project

Record samples received from customers in the laboratory’s relevant laboratory system (LIMS) in an accurate and timely manner so that the laboratory can perform the analysis.
Communicate with customers on a daily basis regarding sample requests and non-changing samples. Create customer references in the relevant laboratory system (LIMS) and ensure all customer equipment data is accurate and up-to-date
Print customer asset tags for registration/mobile apps
Ensures correct entry and receipt of incoming samples to Labware Ensures they are prepared and assigned correct analysis, printing labels as necessary for samples with Labware’s labeling system Special will be delivered to customers.
Support and training within the department
Distribute sample information to appropriate departments as required, e.g. inform the German team of the samples received for processing. Respond to customer requests and organize all samples based on those requests ensuring that customer support is provided as needed.
Check that all documents attached to the sample are correct and valid.

How to be a successful person

Experience working in a high / fast delivery environment and under deadlines.
Previous experience in data entry/administration
GCSEs in Science, Maths and English grade A to C or equivalent. It is good to have work experience in the oil industry but not essential
Experience working in a laboratory environment is preferred but not essential
A valid driving license for the UK
