Amazon is seeking a program manager for the Global Mile – EU Export Operations team. The Global Mile team is dedicated to building, operating, and maintaining a global logistics network that enables affordable B2C cross-border shipments from anywhere in the world and delivers to customers anywhere in the world. The EU Export Operations team is responsible for carrier management, network design, and operations. In this role, you will be in charge of the Network Operations component as well as the participation and efficiency of the Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, and Line-Haul operations. You will also be in charge of overseeing initiatives to ensure that exports meet the standards for expediency, service, quality, and affordability. This position will act as a link between Global Mile and Amazon EU Fulfillment Network and Supply Chain, ensuring that both ongoing adjustments to the current situation and upcoming programs will optimize export operations.

To standardize procedures across the network and streamline and automate configurations related to the Global Mile to spur performance improvement opportunities, this person will collaborate closely with a number of Tech teams, EU Configuration/Transport, and other teams.

Principal responsibilities of the position.

Own EU Sort Centers, Fulfillment Centers, Continuous Improvements, and Line-haul connections to guarantee partner success.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to find mistakes and enhance processes.
Own the project’s priorities, performance, and scope in order to meet any corresponding targets for speed, cost, or defect reduction.
Create/implement backup plans and identify at-risk operations to decrease service failures.
To discuss performance trends and strategic initiatives, lead weekly business reviews (WBRs), monthly business reviews (MBRs), and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with senior management from Global Mile and partner teams.
Support Global Mile Operations Peak Readiness Plans, taking responsibility for the network component, and, as needed, providing on-site assistance in key facilities.
Strong data/reporting skills to ensure that partner programs and ongoing projects have performance metrics in place.

ESSENTIAL NEEDS.
