DESCRIPTION.

This team develops the sales and operations plan (SandOP) for all time horizons and the global AIS supportability. They strive to align supply and demand in order to create a shared strategy across teams. They are in charge of distributing documents that support the leadership. They use supply and demand levers across regions and functions as necessary. To match the financial plans with supply and demand, they work together with finance. They present CAPEX changes as needed and secure the necessary approvals. They work closely with software teams to implement Sandamp;OP and supportability views. When necessary, they interact with customers and represent both internal and external clients. They are in charge of maintaining the “Plan of record.”.

 Essential job duties.
  •  To help AWS VPs/GMs coordinate business decisions, expand and enhance the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process.
  •  Lead a group of planning experts in the creation of operational and financial metrics to track and continuously improve planning decisions and their effects on cost and supportability.
  •  With the heads of the AWS business teams, go over potential ways to shape demand in response to supply constraints.
  •  Manage/dial in new programs directly while assisting automation teams with the implementation of the systems and datasets required for the different components of the S&OP up until the point at which automation makes sense.
  •  Examine the execution teams’ strategies for adherence to demand signals, challenging supply assurance for critical bottlenecks, and focusing team resources on the areas of greatest concern.
  •  For this position, it is crucial to have a solid understanding of the shifting market and industry landscapes, including supply and demand, as well as good judgment about which situations call for individualized attention.
  •  This executive provides solutions to strategic problems for Amazon VPs as a thought-leader in the industry.
  •  This leader was in charge of larger initiatives that increased the effectiveness of the company.
