Wells Fargo requires a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to collaborate with the Financial Crimes Analytics, Monitoring, and Surveillance (FCAMS) team of the Financial Crimes Risk Management division. This team focuses on quantitative anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) models and analytics that allow Wells Fargo and Co. to receive detection solutions with success. This position will be responsible for the development, validation, maintenance, implementation, and enhancement of a variety of AML Transaction Monitoring Models as a member of the FCAMS Transaction Monitoring team.

In this circumstance, you will.

For Wells Fargo, develop and enhance a collection of AML Transaction Monitoring models that cover different products in different operating lines.
Support various business projects in the area of financial crimes with analytical work. Recognize and expand the current anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing surveillance landscape.
Work with business and technical groups to create and implement analytical solutions.
Maintain program compliance with all corporate model risk specifications.
Make sure to adhere to all applicable laws and company policies on every project you manage.
Incorporate challenging projects, research, and method implementation across the organization.
By giving them vision, direction, and expertise, assist leadership in putting into practice innovative and significant business solutions that are in line with the enterprise.
interact with coworkers, risk and compliance managers, managers across the board, and serve as a subject-matter expert advisor to the leadership team.

Qualifications required by the US:.

7+ years of relevant experience, as demonstrated by any one or a combination of the following: education, training, work experience, or military service. This experience must be in financial modeling, statistics, analytics, or something equivalent.

either a Ph.D. D. or a graduate degree. D. degree in a quantitative subject, such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business, social, and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.
AML Transaction Monitoring Models and Economics Sanction Models background.
understanding of Model Risk Management Expectations and AML/BSA Regulatory Compliance.
solid foundation in statistical modeling and the construction of machine learning models.
practical experience with handling large datasets in SQL databases.
well-versed in SAS, SQL, Python, and R.
Anti-Money Laundering Certified Specialist (CAMS).
Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
