You will define and develop test coverage as a member of the Silicon Validation team in order to assess functional blocks and resolve silicon-related problems.

 Significant Conditions.

•  excellent understanding of silicon microarchitecture and SoC/FPGA architecture.
•  knowledge of basic embedded software routines and test script writing.
•  familiarity with how hardware and software interact.
•  sound understanding of the fundamentals of digital logic, including timing analysis, state-machine debug, and/or RTL/test-bench development, as well as working knowledge of high-speed memory systems and communication interfaces.
•  a thorough understanding of MAC + Protocol requirements for digital interfaces.
•  understanding of how to create tests that specifically target silicon designs and digital interconnects.
•  Using the most recent lab tools (DSOs, Logic Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers), demonstrate practical debugging skills.
•  knowledge of how to read and navigate schematics.
•  Strong desire to delve deeply into system-level problems and solve them pro-actively in a team-based environment.

 Description.

•  You’ll work with designers and architects to understand various functional blocks and their use cases. Power Management Subsystems, Integrated Wireless Chipsets, and Complex Digital Interfaces new tests should be written, debugged, and incorporated. We rigorously test functional blocks and address any issues that arise. Work together with other groups and organizations to transition these tests into pre-silicon environments. We work closely with hardware design engineers to resolve silicon issues found during testing. bolster local and remote product development builds.

•  Base pay is one part of total compensation at Apple and is subject to a range. This gives you the opportunity to advance as you develop and get better at your job. Your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location will all affect your base pay for this job. From $161,000 to $278,000 is the base pay range for this position.
