Our team manages Apple’s retail locations and workplaces and offers services to them in a flexible and diverse manner. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all pertinent capital construction projects, provide first-rate facilities and on-site services, develop and manage sustainability initiatives to lessen the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, such as commute and renewable energy programs, and make every effort to ensure the health and safety of all Apple employees, facilities, and clients in our locations around the world.

We are seeking an experienced, outgoing, and highly motivated senior facilities professional to join our team and oversee the maintenance of Apple’s retail stores in the EMEA region.

Description.

The building’s operations should be focused on operating buildings as outstanding retail locations that deliver the highest-quality results at the most competitive prices. The facilities manager should have experience managing facilities. In the EMEA region, this position will be in charge of the facilities services for Apple retail stores.

– Actively engage and support the region’s retail stores at all times, attend to their requirements, and visit the stores at least twice a month for in-depth service reviews and to supervise any significant work.
– In close cooperation and partnership with store, market, and global retail support leadership, conduct routinely scheduled, structured site visits to each of the assigned store locations to identify and document all store experience issues.
– Collaborate with the vendors and suppliers to ensure that the contracted maintenance services are successfully provided to the store’s needs. Lead facilities will coordinate the response to emergencies that could impact operations and will help staff members and contractors deliver operations services quickly and affordably.
– Encourage cross-functional teams in real estate, design, innovation, standards, merchandising, direct sourcing, security, ISandamp;T, and other areas to strive for functional and operational excellence across all projects and programs.
– Vast experience and knowledge of building operations and maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, equipment, landscaping, and quality improvement projects.
– In charge of creating the Opex and Capex budgets, managing them via the Service Channel and other tools, and forecasting for the relevant Geo.
– Managing contractors and commissioning representatives to support store acceptance and turnover of various projects and programs.
– Direct management of significant vendors through the WO management system, weekly check-ins, and ongoing evaluation through store tours and financial performance.
– Hiring of general contractors, consultants, vendors, and maintenance service providers, including competitive bidding and assistance during contract negotiations for SOWs, CPSAs, and project-specific agreements.

Both education and experience.

Bachelor’s degrees in construction management, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering are preferred.
