  •  Relationship management: Develop and use relationships between the merchant and American Express to find and put into practice strategies to increase and expand share.

 Minimum requirements.

  •  energetic, ebullient, a team player, and driven to succeed.
  •  Experienced relationship manager with a track record of building trusting client relationships, creating new opportunities, promoting B2C and B2B initiatives, and advancing partnership structures to increase profits and market share.
  •  Strong executive presence both internally and externally, with the capacity to steer and sway conversations at the senior level with clients.
  •  Excellent problem-solving abilities, both analytical and creative.
  •  Ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partner teams, including Membership Rewards, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Risk, Operations, and Legal.
  •  Outstanding ability to prioritize wisely, close deals, and produce results. Strong project management skills.
  •  Financial savvy, including knowledge of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement), as well as the economics of the industry, profitability levers, and card acceptance’s financials.

  •  Prior expertise in the oil and gas industries and B2B is a plus.
