To join our technology teams, we are looking for Technical Project Managers (TPM). TPMs will be paired with one of several creative teams that are building new, adaptable, and cutting-edge platforms to support the crucial objective of connecting with customers wherever they are and however they choose to engage with American Express. TPMs will be a part of a vibrant, entrepreneurial team that will be in charge of offering top-notch Cardmember experiences across a range of channels, including native iOS, Android, web, social integration, java services, and APIs.
In order to develop solutions that will boost engagement and loyalty among our current cardmember base and attract new customers to the AMEX brand, we are looking for creative and innovative people who are passionate about technology and who can work well in a team. To ensure that the delivery of applications and infrastructure components is of the highest caliber, TPMs will collaborate with other technology teams. The role also closely works with business partners, project managers, technical engineers, architects, and leadership to ensure the completeness and effectiveness of solutions while ensuring alignment to standards.

How do you intend to perform well in this role?

You can implement significant change across integrated teams in support of important product initiatives by working with product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance.

Work creatively to find solutions to issues with engineering teams and significant business stakeholders.
Acknowledge and value Agile concepts in order to receive prompt feedback on applications of the highest quality and greatest value.
Seek out opportunities to use cutting-edge technology.

The following are the minimum requirements:.

understanding of every aspect of software design.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to collaborate with business and technical product managers as well as third parties.
readiness to learn new skills.
It is advantageous to have Agile development experience or Scrum Master certification.
