•  Join the cloud governance workgroup to contribute to the development and maintenance of the guidelines for toolkits used in AWS or other relevant cloud environments.
•  Create and implement best practices for cost management, monitoring, change management, and service management that maximize the capabilities of the current infrastructure and eliminate pointless tools and applications.
•  The compatibility of the technical environment, product strategy goals, and user requirements must all be met.
•  Make sure we’re creating secure solutions with state-of-the-art infrastructure and software by collaborating with the Platform and Product teams.
•  Utilize your practical IAC (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) knowledge to drive innovation through infrastructure automation.

•  5+ years of engineering work experience, preferably in infrastructure or security.
•  working for at least three years in distributed cloud computing.
•  programming skills in Python (or another similar object-oriented language).

•  software testing knowledge.

 Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.

•  understanding of agile development methodologies like SCRUM or Kanban.
•  Delivering CI/CD knowledge.

•  understanding of containerization principles.
•  Experience with hardening would be advantageous.
