Depending On The Assignment, The Work Of The Material Logistics Specialist Classification May Include Requisitioning, Receiving, Storing, Stock Chasing, Disbursing, Transferring, Counts, Kitting, Checking, Inspecting, Returning To The Factory, Issuing, Shipping, Delivering, And Rearranging Stock. It May Also Involve Inventorying And Warehousing Supplies, Which May Include Tools And Materials Used By The Tech Ops Department.
Transporting Materials And Parts To Predetermined Locations, Operating Motor Vehicles, And Using Store Equipment. Parts That Are AOG And OTS Are Delivered, Transferred, Prepared For Shipment, And Received. Obtaining And Preparing Parts And Materials, Including Hazardous Materials, For Shipment.
Identifying Items, Loading, Unloading, Binning, And Pulling Items From Stock; Packing And Unpacking Items; And Other Related Physical Work.
Keeps Inventory In Good Working Order And Within Established Parameters.
Keeps The Workspace And Surrounding Areas Clean. Items Are Stored In Accordance With Company, Fire, Safety, And “Good Housekeeping” Policies And Procedures. Reports The Need For Repairs, Cleans And Maintains Equipment To Keep It Functional And Presentable.
Follows Instructions From A Crew Chief Or Supervisor As Well As FAA And Company Regulations And Policies.
As Necessary For The Job, Including Climbing Ladders And Carrying Bins, Etc. Drives Or Guides Powered Equipment, Such As Industrial Tractors With Or Without Trailers, Forklifts, Trucks, Or Other Company Motorized Vehicles In The Movement Of Parts, Equipment, And Tooling; Uses Hand Tools, Such As But Not Limited To Power Saws, Hammers, Crow Bars, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Wrenches, And Wrenches; Uses Industrial Scales; And Will Use Any Tools And Equipment Available.

Education And Prior Work Experience Are The Minimum Requirements.
