As an Inside Business Representative (ISR), you will work directly with local businesses to help them achieve their goals through Yelp’s various social media programs. You’ll work with small business owners over the phone to determine their needs and wants and tailor each sales pitch to help make them stand out. What to do:

Develop, manage and sell a successful Yelp advertising program through a high volume of outbound sales calls – this service is 100% phone based. Your goal is to reach as many businesses as possible.

You will work one of the following hours (in your local time), or another as determined by your manager: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; or from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Acquire and manage a pipeline of customers from dentists to florists to home decorators, all organized in our CRM (Salesforce)

Become an expert in Yelp advertising solutions and quickly adapt product recommendations to customer needs. Asking probing questions and overcoming customer complaints and objections will be critical to your success.

What it takes to be successful:

  • GED/HS degree and 2+ years of customer facing experience or;
  • License
  • No phone calls
  • General computer and email skills – we use Google Suite and provide Macbook laptops
  • A distraction-free workplace
  • Ability to organize work effectively and manage independently without supervision
  • Must have current US work permit
