Key responsibilities of the position.

This position, which is technically based on-site, supports internal workers. A useful skill for this position is supporting PC hardware, software, and internal tooling for employees. Use of the internal ticketing system is required for customer interaction. Maintain the IT asset inventory and set up hardware for new hires.

REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL.

supporting operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, or Linux) for at least a year.
having a variety of on-site support options.
an understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook from the Microsoft Office package.
having knowledge of using a ticket system for customer service issues.
understanding of computer imaging.
understanding of hardware troubleshooting (client/server, network hardware).
proficient in English.
credentials that are preferred.
basic knowledge of network troubleshooting.
knowledge of information system security at the fundamental level.
Experience in providing IT support for medium-to-large businesses.
a demonstrated capacity for taking in and utilizing new information.
being able to identify issues and preventatively solve them.
